PURPOSE
The ASK OCCULTEST OB PAPER is, an easy to use and high sensitivity and specificity kit, used for the qualitative determination of occult blood in feces.
PRINCIPLE
The ASK OCCULTEST OB PAPER is based on the retention of heme pseudo peroxidase activity in the ethyl acetate. The specifically peroxide is degraded by heme to superoxide radicals with oxidizing a chromophore to a colored compound.
