ASK® LYSE SU
PURPOSE
The ASK LYSE SU is, a lysing reagent, used on the cell analyzer (SYSMEX K800, K-1000 and K-4500) for the detection of Hemoglobin (Hgb).
PRINCIPLE
The principle of hemoglobindetection is hemoglobin bind selectively with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. The increase in absorbance of the resulting Hemichrome (SLS-Hemoglobin) complex, read at 540nm, is proportional to the hemoglobin (Hgb) concentration.
